Arch Linux on my Eee PC 901

Just two days ago, I got my shiny white Asus Eee PC 901! I've been waiting a long time for this, and although it's the 12 GB WinXP model (lol Ausfailia), I've managed to set it up with Arch Linux and the GNOME DE.

... because no stores seem to be stocking one that matches these specs:

  1. Asus Eee PC 901,
  2. with Linux (screw Windows and its anti-hacking regime),
  3. that's white (gloss finish == fingerprints on black surfaces).

IELM Emacs Lisp Mode

This brings up a dedicated interactive Emacs Lisp REPL, a bit like the one that SLIME provides for Common Lisp. It's a crap-load easier than doing C-x C-e or C-j on things and peering at the mini-buffer output.

Like SLIME's REPL, pressing M-p will go back in history, and M-n forward. The mode works just fine with paredit mode, which I personally love. Handy!
